Has anyone here had a chance to try MariaDB ? I would like to hear some pros
and cons. I have been investigating on this for a while.

I heard that Open source projects has started supporting MariaDB as an
alternate for MySQL. In fact Drupal QA setups were already using it for a
while [1], however i have not seen any good installation/ migration
documentation neither support from hosting providers side. Any thoughts
pertaining to this will be greatly appreciated.

Can this be added to Demo stalls to spread awareness ?
