This is a problem occurring in most of the laptops with preinstalled
windows7. Already a thread had been created regarding this with subject
*Windows applications making GRUB 2 unbootable*.

But AFAIK, there is no existing solution to this.
The best alternative is to use Free software alone :) Become a complete
GNU/Linux user!
Else you can use some other distro or older versions of Ubuntu (9.04 or
earlier) along with windows.
