[Ilugc] error in ubuntu 10.04 ultimate

hi,
   i am using Ubuntu 10.04 ultimate edition... when i start ubuntu in login
page it shows the following error *"The GNOME power manager defaults are not
properly installed.. please contact your computer Administrator"* and i cant
able to login into ubuntu... wat is the problem wit it? please say solutions
for it..
