I suggest you don't develop software, on a closed platform like Microsoft
.Net. Why don't you give the other languages a try, so that you wouldn't have
the problem of vendor lock-in, in the future? You can try Qt, GTK, Google's GO,
or Ruby. If you're interested in Rapid Application Development (RAD), then you
can use an IDE like Eclipse. You can also take a look at Platform as a Solution
(PAAS) Cloud Computing like Google App Engine, for your development.
