There is a requirement to develop a portal using FOSS tools.
www.precisionit.co.in is a IT services company and
the largest sales / support partner for HP / IBM products.
The company has supplied and currently maintaining over 60,000 various
IT equipments
like laptops,desktops, servers, printers, UPS etc for their customers
spread across India.
The company is panning to build a portal to log breakdowns, monitor the
service progress,
plan spare part movements, plan man power requirements etc.
Was given to believe that there are FOSS tools already in place which
can meet most of the requirements
in compliance with ITIL processes.
If any of the member/s of this group is interested in evaluating the
various available tools,
suggest the best one to deploy, carryout customization requirements etc
by taking this
as a project / freelance/ consulting, please let me know.
