We need to learn what is required for our work. Problem comes only when we mix application of perl with basic perl e.g. mastering all modules etc.. Even after 10 years I am not confident will all power of perl regex, but I don't bother because my development doesn't need much of regex. > it is not tough - it it is a wonderful language - I love > it, and the > further away I am from it, the more I love it ;-) In tamil they say 'Nizhalin arumai veyyilil therium' - 'coolness of shadow is realised only under sun'. As Larry Wall the founder of perl said, look at its strength, if suitable use it. It has its own strength and weakness. Coming to the other part - I am willing to organise one or two days event on perl. Can we?
