The idea is simple, go to village and city and advocate for GNU/Linux.
website lists some recent seminars by G T rao.
We want your guys or the guys/gals who are doing same work can have a
common listing on website.
Going to such cities all alone (thats what G T rao is doing) is
difficult but not impossible. We are helping him from backend like
finance/material/contacts etc
He also learned tricks like
* Dharmshala or Mandir or similar places you can stay free.
* Gets contacts from local journalist from DIT - District information center.
* Meeting Guys Like Director of college, Lala of City or district
collector directly ans says we are doing this work form non-profit
help a lot.
* In 3-5 days one can generate new workshop or seminar. G T rao is
earning is most basic money from donations from workshop.
* College and school contacts can be sent back to us so that we can
send Live CDs, Material etc.
* We need more persons like G T Rao who are doing this full time.
* We need persons who can go to back their villages and city and do
seminars. Once in their whole year. Its doable.
* We need highly passionate people who want to contribute to FOSS by
going to village and city level.
