Oh! you are talking about Alfresco, pentaho etc.? That is indeed a great idea. Throw in an instance of Bigbluebutton, webmail, calender, admin tools to manage 1000s of users, provisioning tools, Repository and the such. They are also after all Java based and we have a JBoss with many ha features. In fact we can dream of having finely tuned Redhat MRG (sources are available) as a platform in a campus. One sheds tears of blood when on'e tax money is wasted away by some egotistic moron who has been ego-massaged in in some vendor's conference wiht all the goodies and the such as the vendors like to influence the minds of people who influence youn minds of India (Over 50% population uner 30 years of age). I can talk freely here because many of us have somehow managed to get our head out of sand and have tried to swim the ocean of technology rather than that expensive upgrade rollercoster imposed by the vendors and hope I will not not be misunderstand. Again above imho. Regards, Rajagopal _______________________________________________ ILUGC Mailing List: http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc
