Having one mailing list is not going to happen and it is ok for LUGs and User groups to have their mailing lists and topics. Though cross-posting is not banned here, it is frowned upon. That is the precise reason, we request to tag the cross-posted emails and use them very sparingly for emails like announcements and etc. Thanks & Regards.
