Let me put it this way. Even today Chennai has not come of age when it comes to software dev work. You have to search in bangalore. I am sure other cities like Noida, Pune and Mumbai are lagging behind. Even when I train people they get placed elsewhere mostly in Blore. If you want to really learn software coding and engineering you should learn in Bangalore. I worked in Blore for more than 5 years. The other thing is that your approach is wrong. I posted for obtaining a house on rent in the paper. People started calling and asking me where it was. ;) So normally people who require employees post ads. If you want a job you should look for it yourself. Get my idea? The onus is on you to impress employers to give you a job.
