Main issue I faced was with using a different kernel. Try earlier versions of the FuguMod kernel (for over and underclocking). Version 2.4 didn't work for me - but alpha 5 does work for some developers on the XDA forum (Haven't tried it yet). Also, use Regina launcher - it somehow makes the battery go longer.
