I would not recommend joining a course or even bothering about certifications. Its hard to find quality faculty. Suggestion - If this is for your final year project, mention your area of interest, speak to a few experts on ILUG, show them what you have done with linux so far, prove to them that you don't need spoon-feeding and help them on their projects taking one module at a time. That would give you hands-on learning experience - which would be far more useful than certifications.
