Dear FOSS enthusiast This Saturday (17th September) is the Software Freedom Day across the world. We at IIT Bombay are celebrating in commemoration of this day at the following venue:

Asokan : Benefits of FOSS 11:15 - 11:30 -- Break 11:30 - 12:15 -- Talk by Madhu Belur : FOSSEE project activities 12:15 - 1:00 -- Quiz 1:00 - 2:00 -- Lunch 2:00 - 3:30 -- Lightning talks (see below) 3:30 - 3:45 -- Prize distribution 3:45 - 4:30 -- Birds of feathers On this occasion, we plan to have a "hackathon" (from 10am to 4pm that day) exercise on problems listed in http://www.fossee.in/sfd2011#hackathon which has information about prizes and deadlines.
