Dear Friends, Community Computing Center, an initiative of Free Software Foundation, Tamil Nadu, to facilitate the underprivileged masses with the technology. Life without information technology is unimaginable for many of us. Yet an entire generation is growing up without access to any of the tools that are so much a part of our lives. Volunteers have found two possible places for Community Computing Center in Chennai, Tambaram Sanatorium with around 150 families, and Mylapore with around 5000 families. With the team of 30+ passionate volunteers working on syllabus and course materials as phase one, to implement the first Community Computing Center to the earliest. We need volunteers who speak in Tamil to teach students. We invite every one to help us by donating money/time or both. Share this with your friends and help us get more volunteers, Lets do our bit for our society.
