This is true for atleast one of my clients.
HPCL, a fortune 500 company.

I was so shocked that our project which is getting transferred to their
servers is the first Linux based web application they are going to host.
This was also possible only because of a very big fan of Linux sitting in
a managerial post in their Hyderabad data center.  I had a very interesting
conversation with him. He claims the company is not averse to embracing
Linux, but still has not done because they feel that there is not much of
employable talent in the market for system administration. Again, they have
their own issues being a PSU. The company got seriously impressed with open
source when they moved to an open source mail server a few years back.
