Hi, I am using Linux Mint 12 (which is based on Ubuntu 11.10). I am getting artifacts in screen while doing casual work. This happens when using compiz (unity) or gnome 3 (both use OpenGL). When using gnome 2 without compiz (3D effects) things are fine. I raised a bug in Ubuntu and Mint but no response. Can anyone help in resolving this? I am using Intel 82945G graphics card (i915 driver). I have tried Linux kernel 3.0, 3.1, 3.2 all have the same issues. Running Mesa 7.11.

The screen is completely filled with some random junk. When I pressed "print screen" some part got cleared and you can see it. Please feel free to ask for more info if needed.
