<disclaimer>I've stopped following olpc about 2 years back, there is way
too much going on and some things had to get dropped, olpc unfortunately
was one of those things</disclaimer>

Sugar, the OLPC UI and the code around it is open source, so the new
upgraded 700Mhz AaKash should be able to run it anyway ? if its a s/w
issue, its easily fixed down that route.

Does anyone know what the reasons to drop Aakash really are/where ? it
looks, from this end, that politics got in the way.
