I am using HP mini Netbook with Network Controller Broadcom
Corporation*BCM4313 [14e4:4727]
* rev 01. Kernel driver in use is *brcm80211.*
Wanted to make an ad-hoc network with MeeGo systems. But iw list command
shows only two interface modes managed and monitor. How to add ad-hoc mode?
I tried the following command
* iwconfig wlan0 mode ad-hoc
* Error for wireless reques "Set Mode" (8B06)
SET failed on device wlan0 ; Operation not supported.
if ad-hoc is not supported by brcm80211 does i have to change my driver to
b43. where i can download the package for b43?.Does i have to uninstall
brcm80211 before installing b43. Please guide me on these topics.
