Dear Bala, I looked at your snort PDF. Nice presentation.
But I want background theory and usage tips and architecture and use cases. Instead you have dwelt on installation and configuration, this may be trivial on OpenBSD. I want to know how snort can be used to detect youtube access as you have said in your talk. I want to know what all snort can do and how. Also what is intrusion detection and intrusion prevention? So far no customer has asked me about IDS but I am sure I will need it if I am to build a UTM. Please educate.
