As far as I know, BOSS's focus is on localization of GNU/Linux so that it'd become suitable for the non-english speaking public. There is not much of hardening that I know of on BOSS. But the government could use some hardened Linux for handling critical data. We should speak to CERT-IN and NIC and ask them about their security practices. And as for websites, the situation is so rotten. Recently Anonymous took down several Indian sites very easily.. This is not good. I myself have reported more than two instances of site defacements by some "Pakistani Cyber Army" or something similar. -- Y _______________________________________________ ILUGC Mailing List: http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc
