Don`t hesitate to ask anything about linux here.

I think it should be grub.cfg file otherwise check the *grub* file
path in Ubuntu 11

if it grub.cfg then follow this...

*sudo gedit /boot/grub/grub.cfg*

or

*sudo vi /boot/grub/grub.cfg*
