Hi,

Indeed, he was a good person, a very jovial person, full of life and an
excellent sense of humour.
As an example of his good humour, see his article on irctc madness
http://lawgon.livejournal.com/85000.html.
As for his good naturedness alongwith an excellent sense of humor, see
1) http://lawgon.livejournal.com/83481.html and
2) http://lawgon.livejournal.com/83805.html

The title of the above articles is an apt description for the demise of KG
himself "A light has gone out ... ".

That makes me ponder with the death of "the Captain" in KG's article above
as well as the death of KG himself
if that is all there is to life or *is there something more*? I mean both
people were real but, in some sense
they were like cool characters right out of some well-planned novel.

I remember the last time I met him in person was in IIT Madras for an ilugc
meet. We had
good fun. Even then, I wanted to ask him a question but I was not able to
overcome my own
inhibitions to do so. Maybe I can ask it here, "*What is the real purpose
of life?*"

Is it not something worth reflecting on?
