Dear all, Two days FOSS workshop was conducted in VelTech Technical University, Avadi (www.veltechuniv.edu.in) on 07/08/12 & 08/08/12 for the department of CSE totaling 300+ students.
The following sessions were covered in the workshop. * Introduction to FOSS, GNU/Linux * Mageia-2 Installation * Software Management in Mageia * Applications in Mageia * Introduction to GCC, make, kernel compilation etc. I would like to thank Mr. Senthil Kumar / Asst.
