I tried a similar thing with OOwriter back in 1Q/2009 (don't recall the version number). However, the book had a *lot* of screenshots; as it was end use oriented. OOwriter could not handle it; it would take ages to load and save changes. I asked my staff to switch to Docbook. At first there were protests but upon insistence, it it took them about 5 days to get the hang of it. After the switch it was possible to script the entire post production of the document. Downside, it is *not* WYSIWYG but then it tickles your brain to imagine what you want the out put to look like and then put in the relevant tags. After this experience, they did not want to use any WYSIWYG for tech. papers/documents :) -- Arun Khan _______________________________________________ ILUGC Mailing List: http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc
