Hi, I am setting up a mailing list and want some help on mx records.
Name lists.mydomain.comClass INType AStatus ActiveValue
54.xxx.xxx.xxx.xxxTTL 28800
and
Name mx.mydomain.comClass INType MXPriority 10Status
ActiveValue lists.mydomain.comTTL 28800
Is this correct? Even after almost 12hrs the mails are not received. I am able
to send(using sendmail), but not receive.
The config file /usr/lib/mailman/Mailman/mm_cfg.py is edited for email host
fqdn as "lists.mydomain.com"
And also, 1) is it true that a mx record is not required if a A record is set?
2) can I have www.mydomain.com and mydomain.com and lists.mydomain.com in the A
records to the same IP ( I have only one IP)?
