So, can I summarise like this:

1. There are no low cost tablets pre-loaded with Linux.

2. 'Some' Android tablets can be tinkered with and one can load Linux on them - 
Ex: Archos tablets. But these are expensive, so it does not answer the original 
question.

In which case, let me rephrase the question:

3. I see Zync, Wespro and other companies giving away low cost Android tablets 
with 10" display at Rs. 7,000/- to Rs. 8,000/-

Can anyone help me load Linux on these devices, so that I can connect a 
keyboard and mouse and use it as a low cost laptop?
