CloudMint is looking for a Ruby on Rails developer with 1-2 years experience. It will be helpful if you also know PHP. We are a services company (for now) - we build custom applications for our clients. We also work on some websites (in PHP and CakePHP). The applicant must have a good understanding of: - The entire Rails stack We don't split responsibilities like larger companies. Add to that the fact that our work is mostly from scratch beyond the basic framework and a few admin-related gems. That means for example that knowing how to use Devise will not be useful. You should have a grasp of how user authentication works and the security implications and so on. - HTML, CSS (including cross-browser issues), JavaScript (including jQuery) - Git (or some other SCM system) - Server setup and basic server administration would be a bonus - PHP and CakePHP knowledge would also be a bonus. But if you know Rails, that won't be a problem.
