I appreciate your enthusiasm for finding interesting tools and sharing them. Some of your posts has been a memory jogger for me. However, do a look at the project activity. The last activity on the web site is 2008. I have been using LAM (LDAP Account Manager - a PHP based Web UI). It integrates with openLDAP (with Samba schema) pretty well. For the CLI enthusiasts - smbldaptools suite works well. Also, with the eminent release of Samba4, we may have other options for deploying and managing DSs.
