Hi,

I recently found about Yakuake and found it nice. But I have run into
some trouble.
I was using gnome-terminal before and in that, new tab opens a new tab
in the
previously working directory. But Yakuake even after setting up
preferences correctly
fails to do so. I searched the web for a solution and found this:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=214547
In comment 2, a solution is suggested, where, they point out that
/proc/PID_for_yakuake/cwd
stores the present working directory. But in my case, the link
/proc/PID_for_yakuake/cwd
doesn't change. It always points to my home folder and my new tabs always
open with their present working directory as the home folder.

I even tried making a new 'cdd' in which I forcefully change the link to
the
directory I am going to and then do cd to it. But the command
ln -sfn my_new_pwd /proc/PID_for_yakuake/cwd
throws up permission error even when I 'sudo' it. Help? Is there some
kind of lock on it?
Currently, the permissions for /proc/PID_for_yakuake/cwd reads 777.

Further down in the webpage, I see that a patch has been submitted. How
do I use a
patch in an existing installation?

Thanks in advance,
