Dell machines normally use a Broadcom USB wireless device internally. lsusb will tell you what it is. The drivers for this are in the restricted drivers section and are not loaded by default. On your first boot, you would have seen an icon in the systray for restricted drivers. Clicking that would confirm restricted drivers loading and then the wifi must work. The drivers are also available separately for download from the Broadcom site. -- Mohan Sundaram _______________________________________________ ILUGC Mailing List: http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc
