Hi Arun,
i checked this command "/etc/init.d/rsyslog status" but not
showing anythink.so i reinstalled rsyslog. Now i got status running.
root@server:~# /etc/init.d/rsyslog status
rsyslogd is running.
root@server:~#
Again i checked /var/log/message but showing below error.
root@server:~# tail -f /var/log/messages
rsyslogd: [origin software="rsyslogd" swVersion="4.6.4" x-pid="32586"
x-info="http://www.rsyslog.com"] rsyslogd was HUPed, type 'lightweight'
