Having these info before would have helped. Get a raspberrypi and make her to use scratch. No need of C or python (at least as of now). Let her concentrate on game play (if it is a game) than letting her learn C or python. Once she is good in logical thinking, problem solving and other skills let her learn how things go inside when she does something (let her learn C). Everything can be done with C but no one is doing so now for practical reasons. Let her know how to use the blocks available to create a building and once she learns it to some level let her learn how those building blocks are made.
