The affiliated colleges are very well aware about these relationships and don't care much about all these. These relationships has done enough damage to our education system in the past and these are not new to our colleges. As our education system has started moving to Linux / Open source software, the proprietary software major has started doing all evil things to stop that by joining hands with AICTE / Universities in India. We need not do anything to undo/stop it. As most colleges have started moving away from proprietary operating system (especially in the case of TN), a lot of damage has already happened to the proprietary software vendor. Now, they are just attempting to slowdown the Linux / FOSS migration process in education. -- S.
