And, at the same time, the last 5 years have demonstrated a willingness of a large number of individuals (of all ages) to attempt to develop a business away from the "I'll get a job" model. I find that reassuring because it indicates that slowly (even if it is more slowly than we'd like) the ability to take a chance is being built. The part from the article with which I disagree is that it tends to conclude that education is a means to an end. Education is, and mostly has been a guide - a pointer to further ways of development.
