+1

I am also against a ban on Girish.

I may disagree with what he says, but I will defend his right to say it.

Girish wastes time, bandwidth, and disk space by posting disorganized,
inaccurate code.
In addition, he is insulting to LUG.

Since Girish is also a member of the LUG list, he is clearly admitting in
his own words, that he is not doing anything useful.
I don't really see his postings bringing much benefit to LUG, unless he
listens to the audience.
There are plenty of books and blogs where this material is well-organized.

Many of us are actively learning technologies, yet we don't see any need to
impress this list with our half-digested learning.

This list is not a Free Speech forum.
His web site / blog is a Free Speech forum where he can post what he likes.

Here, we should learn to participate in community.
That means listening to the audience and adapting accordingly.

Yet, you have to admire this guy's attitude:
I don't care what anyone says! I will code nonsense, and talk nonsense.
You are all negative and useless, but I will teach you anyway.

Girish Guru-ji, we are not worthy of your teachings.
Please go do something useful.
Join Microsoft, and then you won't have time to lecture useless LUG people.

Cheers,

- Ashwin.
