I am using Git for quite some time, but I just use it as some magical wand that tracks my project and with the help of few flags, commands I could revert, reset, get back or be sure of my project. But this site http://think-like-a-git.net gave a proper approach in understanding git. This guy starts with graph theory and explains how it is tightly related with git. A good read.
