Dear All. How do I limit memory requirement of a c/c++ executable in linux ? Generally the program would takeup as much memory available and then it gets killed by kernel. How do I avoid this situation ? and make it run under a specified memory limit ? ofourse I udnertand that the run time increases accordingly.
