Hi Srini,

Anyways, Apple is not all that bad, take a look at:
http://www.apple.com/opensource/
http://www.opensource.apple.com/
http://www.opensource.apple.com/release/mac-os-x-1084/ < Source code of
MAC OS X 10.8.4
http://www.macosforge.org/

The context of my reply was based on the word "worthless" used by Prasanna,
quoted below:

I agree on the issues relating to freedom. That is a no-brainer. Apple and
Freedom.
My argument was based on the technical merits of OS X and I stand by it.

and my disclosure:
I love 'computing' and it is one of the greatest interest in my life. I am
not a fan boy of any one OS. I am excited equally when I work with:
Linux - For it's freedom, free beer, humane and community models and more
than anything feeling good seeing people putting in valuable time to create
stuff for everybody to use.
Apple - Engineering, Perfection and Beauty. ...and XCode (personal
preference as be best free IDE)
Microsoft - Win32 SDK (personal preference as the greatest API ever made)
and MS Office.

Regards,
Arun
