Indian IT is awash with success and failure stories of Infosys, TCS, Wipro, CTS.
But that is not something to be proud of. Not for engineers of course. Maybe for MBA guys and people not capable of thinking for themselves. The true value created by India as a country lies in creating technology and knowledge that people respect us for. Here is the list of companies I know that have done that. 1) Zoho 2) Druva backup software 3) Fusion charts charting 4) jijitechnologies (Microsoft shop, ex Zoho) 5) visualwebsiteoptimizer.com (AB testing of websites) 6) Vembu storegrid ( ex Zoho) Many more I dunno. Each of these companies are making more than 5 million dollars. Not all but most. And Zoho has a product suite that touches the alpha to omega of computing.
