Most hypervisors have utilities to convert the virtual disk image formats. What I understood from Zico's OP is that he has the entire OS installation in a tar ball (I have used this method for bare metal installs). Now he wants to create a bootable virtual disk image with the OS installation coming from the tar ball. @ Zico - please clarify use case scenarios i.e. what do you have and where do you want to go with it; break it up into a list items. -- Arun Khan _______________________________________________ ILUGC Mailing List: http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc ILUGC Mailing List Guidelines: http://ilugc.in/mailinglist-guidelines
