IIRC, Broadcom has open sourced the driver for it's WiFi chip set.
Sometimes missing firmware is the root cause of the driver not
working.   Look @ Fedora firmware rpms.

Alternately, try latest version of Ubuntu live CD, to see if the
driver is included.
I have found Ubuntu to be pretty good in detecting and installing
drivers for newer hardware.
