@padmini, three factors - lack of academic integration, training (to both students and teachers) and support (peer/community/commercial) seems by far serious obstacles, in particular in encouraging use of foss, here BOSS Linux. so if your training idea takes off, it would be interesting to see if it helps. reg balu
