Hi

>> What makes you think he knows Tamil. Probably, he doesn't know
how to read tamil well enough, and was not able to understand that
email. And could have sent that email out of that frustration. Since
we know that there are non-tamil people on the list, It is basic
courtesy to send emails in English, or at least a translation of the
contents in the same email.Thanks

Yes, I agree ,but having said so
ilugc was nourished once by the the physical volunteer (aka the foot
soldier),
This population is now seen in the list of extinct species.
I think we should give some consideration to the physical volunteer and in
case if he is not comfortable in posting in english
we can request him to do two things
[1] use the tag [tamil] in the mailing list
[2] write the english translation or he should/can request for english
translation at the end of his post.

I learned from Shri Ponkandasamy that he is a member and a silent reader of
posts of this forum.
Asking him to post his reply to a inactive list appears to me weired.

regards.

Thyagarajan Shanmugham.
