Over 15 million students tried an Hour of Code. More girls tried computer science than in the last 70 years, with over 10 million girls participating in this worldwide 5-day event in 2013. This global movement seeks to expand participation in computer science by making it available in more schools, and increasing participation by women and underrepresented students of color.
