Looking at the list, these are the things I see:

* Github gives you 5 free private repositories for your "top-secret"
projects. This is complemented by TravisCI builds on them.
* DigitalOcean can be used to deploy your applications.
* Email infra with SendGrid. I've personally used their transactional email
service and it is really nice
* SSL certificate from namecheap

Though, Its not about what you get from these individual services. It is
about the opportunity to experiment with a LOT of things that would
otherwise cost money to use.

Use this as an opportunity to try out the different services. Use
digitalocean's API in order to create droplets and deploy your applications
on them. Collaborate on a private project hosted on Github in the way that
large open source projects do (fork-pull request model). Create your
website and secure it with HTTPS (at least to an extent). Use sendgrid
transactional email to set up home automation via email.

The things you can do know no end. Just go out there and experiment :)

Hope it helps. Reach out in case you need any more help

All the best!
