Hi all, While i've read and understand all the required guidelines for replying in a mailing list (no top posting, not replying to digests, and basically the whole thing here[1]), I am curious to know your workflow.
For eg. I subscribed using my gmail, and the reply button on gmail is pretty darned crappy and puts you into top post mode. I need to select the text in the email, remove the formatting, perform require edits, insert my replies and send the mail I've been a member of the PyCon India mailing list for a while now and have followed this in all my mails but now i'm getting really bored of it. Which brings me to think, am I doing something wrong? Is there some better way of doing this other than having to edit EVERY email I want to reply to? If there is, I'd love to learn. Would clients like GNUS or Mutt make this easier? I've never tried them out, I'm just curious. Thanks, Shrayas --- [1]: http://www.shakthimaan.com/downloads/glv/presentations/mailing-list-etiquette.pdf _______________________________________________ ILUGC Mailing List: http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc ILUGC Mailing List Guidelines: http://ilugc.in/mailinglist-guidelines
