Hi,

I would really appreciate any input you people might be able to give to
this discussion.

We are looking for suggestions for a privacy package that would be either
- easy to install
- installed by default.

The discussion is here:
http://forum.hamaralinux.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7

So far the suggestions (from me) are:

> - A desktop IDS
> Suricata with a nice gnome3 frontend app and maps integration
> Incorporate a graphical network monitor like
> http://etherape.sourceforge.net/
>
> - Antivirus
> Is it needed / not needed?
> Play safe and say it's needed?
>
> - Rootkit Hunter

> Currently a secure sms protocol for android by https://whispersystems.org/
> but looks like a broswer extension is available
> https://github.com/WhisperSystems/TextSecure-Browser

> AppArmour

TIA
