Hello everyone

I have been porting Linux to ARM boards and other SBCs for eighteen years
now. At my company, www.thinvent.in, we have close to ten embedded
engineers who work full time on making products based on boards similar to
the Raspberry Pi. All of these engineers were fresh out of college when
they were employed at Thinvent. Some engineers work on Thinvent products;
our products are all about Linux on the desktop. Some engineers develop IoT
products for other companies. The new joinees in the team typically port
Linux on to new ARM boards as a way of learning how uboot, the kernel, and
the GNU userland works.

I am sharing all this because I am excited by what you guys are doing with
RPi's. Your focus might be more on the user level stuff - Python
programming etc. My interest and knowledge lies in the hardware and kernel
layers, and I and my team would be happy to share our knowhow and
resources/office with ilugd for any future activities.

Regards
Saurabh
