yes, it will work -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of D.Venkatasubramanian, Noida Sent: Tuesday, June 17, 2003 12:59 PM To: The Linux-Delhi mailing list Subject: [ilugd] SSH Keys and Setup
Hi, I had generated an SSH Key for generating a key for write access to a remote site. As the Hard Disk at my local machine (server) is getting changed, I want to save the SSH Keys and information so that I can restore that information when I have re-installed Linux. I don't want to generate a new key, because then I will have to notify the remote sites. What all do I need to save? Is the .ssh directory enough? And once I have re-installed, do I just copy back the .ssh directory? Will this work? Could anyone give some pointers. Thanks and Regards, Venky _______________________________________________ ilugd mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd
