Hello,

At my institute a linux lab is being set up and we are
loading different distributions in multibooting
fashion. On two computers on which we have installed
Debian3.0r1,SuSe7.3 and Redhat9.0,all the
distributions are working fine except redhat9.0 which
is unable to activate the ethernet card and if we try
to activate it then it says:

"8139too device eth0 does not seem to be
present,delaying initialization."

On the same computers the other distriutions are
working fine and we are able to browse sites.
On other 6 computers even Redhat 9.0 is working fine.

We have installed these distributions in the same
manner on all the computers and we are not able to
figure out why only on these two computers this
problem persists.

Is there any configuration file that should be
checked?

Help...

Lalitha
